VTeX 5.0 Editor Enhancements

VTeX 5.0 features a new, greatly improved editor. We have retained all the features which made the 4.0 editor the most convenient workplace for TeX work and added many new ones.

A partial list of new and improved editor features follows:

VTeX 5.0 allows unlimited Undo and Redo of editing commands. These features are included on the editor toolbar.
You can smoothly (1pt increments) magnify and demagnify the text in the editor.
The editor now allows usage of TrueType fonts. For multinational support, this feature requires installing multinational support under Win95 or NT4.0; under other operating systems we supply bitmapped multinational fonts.
The editor supports improved word wrapping facilities and paragraph reformatting. The margin can be set in characters or pixels.
Improved keyboard handling, switching between standard and alternate keyboards.
WVTE editor can convert conversion of a document depending on the symbol code table. For example: between DOS (PC850) and Windows (ISO8859) coding. Expand high ascii characters to TeX notation (á->\'a) or compress TeX notation to high Ascii characters.
New Macro facility. Turn commonly used strings into editor macros.
Regular-expressions-based Search and Replace. These two functions now also fully work with non-Latin text (Cyrillic or Greek, for example).
