TM Math Logo

TM Math is a family of serif fonts, inspired by remarkable Times Roman(TM) typeface. Times Roman first appeared in 1932 in The Times of London newspaper, for which it was designed under the direction of Stanley Morison. It has subsequently become one of the worlds most successful type creations. Widely used in books and magazines, for reports, office documents and also for display and advertising.

TM Math comprises the fonts necessary for mathematical typesetting (math italics, math symbols and extensions) in normal and bold weights. The family also included all OT1 and T1 encoded text fonts of various shapes, as well as fonts with most useful glyphs of the TS1 encoding. Additionally this collection provides necessary files for using the fonts with plain TeX, LaTeX 2.09 and LaTeX 2e.

TM Math is a full replacement for the Computer Modern fonts, so no change in your documents is required: just specify a TM Math based format.

TM Math fonts can be used by themselves (as quality replacement for Computer Modern), or together with HV Math (TM Math for the body, and HV Math for headers.)

TM Math bitmapped fonts in PK format (300 dpi resolution) are free. Download them now.

First released in November 1998.

Current version 1.5

System Requiments:
Use of TM Math requires a working TeX 3.0+ system, including support for the virtual fonts (part of 3.0+ standard). TM Math cannot be used with the Y&Y software (pre-3.0 TeX, no virtual font support), or TrueTeX (insufficient Type 1 support). VTeX, Unix TeX/teTeX, Windows MikTeX, fpTeX, and any dvips/pdfTeX based systems are supported.
