Downloading and Installing VTeX Trial version (8.2):

VTeX Trial (and VTeX itself) requires Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, or Win/XP. Storage requirements are approximately 10mb.

Before installing the VTeX Trial version, make certain that your computer has the Adobe Acrobat 4/4.05/5/6 Reader installed. If you do not have it, you can download a copy from the Adobe Web site.

Download to a temporary directory the five parts of the Trial distribution.

Run the VTEXDEMO.EXE program.

 

MicroPress Free Fonts

Free HV Math Package

You can download FREE PK distribution of HV Math here. It should be possible to use this distribution with any version of TeX that can handle PK, VF, and TFM files.

This free PK distribution is not suitable for VTeX users and intended primarily for bitmapped-oriented versions of TeX like EmTeX on DOS and CWeb/TeX on Unix. See the Description file for more details.

PK fonts are non-scalable and thus unsuitable for good previewing or PDF construction.They are intended only for 300-dpi printing.
